Mani Ratnam’s  upcoming magnum opus, which is inspired by Tamil novel Ponniyin Selvan by Kalki, is getting its cast & crew details finalised.

It was said that Arya would be part of this multicrore multistarrer and now it has been revealed that Anushka has been roped in for this project.

Anushka has already signed and is playing a crucial female lead role in this film. Other actors who have been finalised for the project are Vijay, Mahesh Babu and Arya as per Kollywood buzz.

This bilingual film will be produced by Mani’s own Madras Talkies in association with some unknown corporate houses.

We are yet to get a clear picture of who`l play who in this Multicrore Multi starrer with a budget of around 75crores.
