Review : Rowdy

Rowdy is your typical Seema Faction film told in RGV style.


Story :

Anna Garu ( Mohan Babu) is a Powerful Factionist and is a People`s man in Seema. On the other hand, his Anti- Group is planning to eliminate him for Business Interests. It is all about the Fights & Games between these two groupings.


Performances:

Mohan Babu delivered a good performance in the film. He is especially good in emotional scenes. Vishnu still needs to do better and is okay. Jayasudha did a fine job. Shanvi, Tanikella Bharani, Jeevi, Paruchuri & Kishore are adequate.


Technical Departments

Music: BGM is a major asset for the film. Music is adequate and the Solo Duet on Vishnu & Shanvi was shot well.
Cinematography:  Good.

Editing: Even at 120 minutes, The film is a bit dragged .

Stunts: Plenty of fights in the film. Have been handled okay and are at times over the top but it is quite common. Yes there is a lot of blood shed.

Story,Screenplay & Direction : 

First things first. Rowdy is a Faction film set in Rayala Seema. It is a rehash of Sarkar & Sarkar Raj which themselves are originally inspired from `God Father` Classics.

Story is a Power Packed Faction drama with lots of action & emotion. There is decent sentiment too. But the film hardly is interesting barring for a few minutes then and there. 1st Half starts off on a power packed note and end on a high note with good Interval making it the better half of the two. 2nd Half gets boring and predictable until Climax which is adequate. In the end its neither a typically bad film from RGV but nor good enough. It may be is watchable for his fans and action lovers.

Box-office Verdict

The film is  highly serious action film which appeals only to a limited section of audience. It is unlikely to make any Big impact at the Boxoffice.
