ABO Mini Review : Chakkiligintha

Chakkiligintha is a Boring Romantic Drama.

Story :

Adi (Sumanth Ashwin) hates going after girls and is also a love guru for college mates. His proposals and suggestions bring a irritating ( to the Girls ) change in the Lover Boys attitude. Angry Girls burning with Revenge has a saviour in Avanthika ( Rehana) who has an alternate plan to burst Adi`s bubbles.

Analysis : Melodrama, Debates and Dragged screen-play let down the film. It had its moments then and there but it is way below the mark to be considered even as an average watch. The 1st half is a little bit better and is average. But the 2nd half is a let down and feels very dragged. On the whole, it is a poor attempt but has Good Technical Values.

Performances : Sumanth Ashwin is adequate and did his best. Rehana is average and hasn`t managed to provide the Glam quotient. Others are Okay.

Songs & Sound Track : Songs are very ordinary and are passable on screen. Sound track is Adequate. .

Direction : Poor.

Stunts : A couple. Okay.

Cinematography : Good.

Plus : Technical Values.

Minus : Characterisations, Screen-Play & Dragged.

Overall Movie Rating : 2.25 / 5 ( Poor )

BoxOffice Verdict :

The film is unlikely to make much impact after the opening weekend.
