ABO Review : 'Sher'

Kalyan Ram - Mallikharjun`s `Sher` is a Poorly baked, Formulaic Masala Flick.

Story :

An aspiring Photographer (Sonal Chauhan) falls for Goutham (Kalyanram) who unexpectedly becomes a part of her award winning Photo. They eventually meet each other but Goutham`s rivalry with a baddie (Vikramjeet) comes back to haunt him. There in lies the twist in the tale which turns this love story into revenge drama.

Performances:

Kalyan Ram is Okay. Sonal is average. Vikramjeet is more than Adequate. Brahmi is as usually good. The rest are So-so.

Technical Departments:

Music: Thaman`s Tunes are Ordinary and are average on-screen. BGM isn`t up-to the mark either.

Cinematography: Adequate.

Editing: Adequate.

Stunts: Over the top at times, Okay.

Analysis :

`Sher` sticks to the time tested and highly repeated Template. Its 1st half is Below Average and is bearable to an extent. 2nd half is a dragged affair with an unconvincing flash back making matters worse. There is hardly any chemistry between the lead pair and average comedy is the only saving grace. But The film lacks strong story or emotion to back it up. On the whole, a poor one with many things going wrong.

1. Unexciting Concept.

2. Predictable Narration.

3. Dragged Screen-play
