ABO Review : 'Oopiri'

`Oopiri` is a Feel good, Entertaining, Emotional Drama.

Story :

It is the true story of Philippe Pozzo di Borgo and his French-Algerian caretaker Abdel Selloua. A Rich quadriplegic Billionaire bounded to a Chair hires a a rather strange Man as his Caretaker. The film tracks the journey of their Bromance and how they make peace with both their own personal lives helping each other.

Performances:

Nagarjuna is having a Dream run and delivers another Fabulous Performance. His eyes alone does most of the job. Karthi (Telugu Debut) is extremely entertaining and has done a killer job. Tamannah is graciously good. Prakshraj, Ali, Jayasudha and other supporting cast are adequate. Anushka, Shriya and Adivi Sesh have nice cameos.

Technical Departments:

Music: Songs are Decent and the Background score is Good although overtly loud at times.

Cinematography: Pretty Good.

Editing: Good.

Analysis :

`Oopiri` is a Daring attempt. The film is a Risky French subject adapted Well for Local Sensibilities. 1st half of the flick is Particularly good and 2nd half is Decent. The Later half sees drop in pace and ends with a good Climax. Commercial Elements have been given least importance apart from the 2 Dance numbers. The Feel-Good Emotional Drama will be liked by the Target audience despite minor flaws. Entertainment aspect will Probably make it worth a watch for Majority audience, if paid a visit. Oopiri keeps us glued till the end and gives a sense of satisfaction having witnessed some thing different and meaningful. Critically speaking it doesn`t have too many flaws. You Can Watch It.

3. Production Values.

4. Feel Good Subject.

Minus

1. Slow at times.

2. Not Everybody`s cup of Tea.

Box-office Verdict :

The film Considering the Content has scope to do good business in Cities and Towns. How well it can attract the Target audience in 1st week holds key. It should be a Minimum guarantee, at-least
