How big will be this Sankranthi ?. Two Big stars once again coming with films which are being awaited from an year or so. Last year was the biggest ever Tollywod has seen with 77.7 Cr Share only in AP. Moreover, Ticket Prices have been hiked recently in Summer by 15-20%. This will surely help to get much bigger numbers this time. But unlike last year, `1` & Yevadu aren`t you typical Festive films. They are more of intense action drama`s rather than your typical Mass/Family Entertainers one expect for Sankranthi. But it may not make much difference in the end as Both the Stars involved here are pretty big names.

A ticket hike of 15-20% in the state will help an immediate 10-15% rise in shares for the films in full run. As listed above Sankranthi`13 also featuring Mahesh & Charan who are both locking the horns this time too brought in a Distributor Share of 77.7 Crores. If 1 & Yevadu can live up to the hype, 90Cr share is up for grabs this time from AP alone!!.


Outside AP, Sankranthi is as big only in Karnataka where Yevadu will be big thanks to Ram Charan`s Pan State popularity. Tamilnadu due to local releases will be very negligible market and Overseas isn`t looking bright either with both films being Action flicks. Mahesh should sweep the Overseas market if at all that is any Big.
