ABO Review : 'Tholi Prema'

`Tholiprema` is a Convincing Romantic Entertainer.

Story :

Aditya (Varun Tej) & Varsha (Raashi Khanna) meet in a Train Journey to Hyderabad. They end-up in the same Engineering College and fall in love. Eventually a few misunderstandings and Break-up follows. Will they meet again?.

Performances:

Although Fidaa emerged as a Huge success, Sai Pallavi ran away with all the applause. This is that much awaited film for Varun Tej which is a showscase of his abilities. This is the best film of his short career so far, as far as performance goes and he finally proves himself as an ACTOR. Raashi Khanna is surprisingly good and did a fabulous job. Supporting Cast are more than adequate.

Technical Departments:

Music: A Huge Plus. Superb.

Cinematography: Good.

Editing: Adequate.

Analysis :

It`s been a while since we had a Good film on College Romance. Although Arjun Reddy comes close to being one, that is more About Arjun rather than Romance. Tholiprema is an Emotional Romantic Tale which gives ample scope to both the leads and discusses about their love, ego, attitude and relationship. Although it is not ground breakingly new, the film`s Conviningly Good writing keeps it going and works largely despite being slow at times and having a few predictable episodes. You can easily watch this once.
