Review : Oka Laila Kosam

Oka Laila Kosam is your Regular average Romantic Comedy.

Story :

Karthik ( Chaithu ) falls for Nandana ( Pooja ) at first sight and approaches her but she rejects. And then their families unexpectedly fix a match for them without their knowledge. The rest is about how Karthik convinces Nandana that he and his love is Genuine.


Performances:

Naga Chaithanya did a fairly good job in the 1st half and is average in 2nd half. He has improved a bit on the dances front. Pooja Hegde delivered a fine and apt performance in the film which  clearly overshadows every body else`s. She is a real find of this film where as her other outings in other Industries have been pretty average. Ali played the Comic Relief and is adequate. The rest are fine.


Technical Departments:

Music: Anoop`s music is very average and songs are a bit better on screen with nice visuals. BGM is Adequate. 

Cinematography:  Good.

Editing: So So.

Stunts:  A Couple..Okay.


Story, Screenplay & Direction : 

It is a Typical Romantic Comedy complicated by the dragged 2nd half and different treatment to it. The 1st half is largely cool and is adequate. The film which hits a mini climax in interval is pretty average from then and remains the same in climax too. It is fairly good try since the director choose to do at-least a few things differently but just that they haven`t come out convincingly in the end. The writing in 2nd half should have been better. It is still is a decent film and certainly not a bad one. You may try it if you have some time to kill. But which 25 year old Guy writes Telugu Novels these days?.
