ABO Mini Review : Yamaleela 2

Yamaleela 2 is a Poor, Outdated and Boring Drama.

Story :

Yama & his Chitragupta visit Manasa Sarovaram to catch a glimpse of Devakanya`s who disappear immediately after. Yama, mean while enters deep into a river and the worried Chitragupta searching for Yama loses his `Bhavishya Vani` book to a human who is there for a reason. What was that?, and how they get back their Coveted Book is the rest.

Analysis : A Slow boring 1st half coupled with strictly below average 2nd half makes it a poor watch in the end. The Director has totally failed to create at-least 1 interesting episode in the entire film or at-least even a half good Comedy episode. Outdated Narration, Unimpressive screen-play and Cliched Sentiment Scenes and a Total 90`s style film it is. Only saving grace in the film is some what better Production values and the nostalgia from the Prequel surrounding Yama and his Chitragupta.

Performances : Mohan Babu & Brahmi are Adequate and did their job. The Débutante Hero & Heroine haven`t been upto the mark. Rest are So-so.

Songs & Sound Track : Special Number canned on Sada is slightly better on screen and the rest are poor. Soundtrack is so so and could have been better.

Direction : Poor.

Stunts : Poor.

Cinematography : Okay.

Plus : The Backdrop of Yama.

Minus : Poor Narration and Comedy & Predictable.

Overall Movie Rating : 2.25 / 5 ( Avoidable )

BoxOffice Verdict :

The film is unlikely to make much impact after the opening weekend.
